Born in the Lake, Raised with Care

Our journey began at Uyawi Beach in Siaya County, located 15 km south of Bondo. Unlike traditional earth pond farming setups, our Tilapia are raised in commercial deep-water marine cages situated in one of the absolute best designated zones for sustainable aquaculture in Lake Victoria.

Because our fish are grown in the clean, natural waters of the open lake, they closely mimic fish caught from the wild. The continuous, sweeping aquatic movement guarantees **no pollution and absolutely no muddy taste**—just clean, consistently premium texture.

A Note from Albert

Our goal was simple: to provide the freshest Tilapia while empowering the communities of Siaya and Kisumu. By bridging the gap between open lake fishing and modern safety standards, 'Tilapia Poa' ensures quality you can trust implicitly.

Our Operational Pillars

Every stage of aquaculture development at our deep-water installation is governed by strict execution guidelines to guarantee top culinary standards.

High Omega-3 Feeds

We feed our fish strictly with top-tier floating feeds matching international nutrition standards. This specialized feed regime yields highly optimized levels of omega-3 fatty acids, delivering an extraordinary taste profile essential for healthy diets.

100% Local Community Support

We firmly believe in building up our regional ecosystem. We proudly **employ local and sell local** to offer complete visual support to the community of Siaya and boost the wider Kenyan economy from the source.

Interrupted Cold Chain

Harvesting immediately triggers a fast sorting and rapid-chilling cycle on-site. This structural approach locks in pristine freshness all the way to regional retail distribution outlets.

HACCP Driven

Global Bio-Safety & Food Management Compliance

Food security requires strict operational accountability. African Blue Limited manages operations under strict alignment with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. This framework tracks critical factors from initial fingerling selection to water quality monitoring cycles and delivery infrastructure security.

By running regular safety diagnostics, we ensure that every delivery batch meets strict regional and international market standards.
